Account Instructions

New Students (including transfer and returning students)

Account Application Instructions

       Please access the New Student Account Activation Interface enter your basic information, and activate your account. The account will be active 10 minutes after registration.
 

Uses of the Computing Center Account

  • E-mail: Provides an email service (your student ID@cc.ncu.edu.tw). Important school-related announcements will be sent periodically to this email address.
  • Personal Web Space: Offers personal web space(http://web.cc.ncu.edu.tw/~your student ID).
  • Portal: The account supports Portal login for students.
  • Wireless Network Authentication: Provides authentication services for wireless network access.
  • Computing Center Computer Login: Grants access to terminal room computers.
  • Student Dormitory Network: Allows application for dormitory network services.

Account Usage Regulations

  • Account Usage Guidelines
    • The account holder must not use the account for profit-making, system security breaches, or disrupting others. If such misuse is discovered, the account will be permanently disabled and legal action will be taken.
    • The account holder must take responsibility for safeguarding their account, including:
      • Memorizing and regularly changing the password to prevent unauthorized use.
      • Prohibiting the exchange or sharing of accounts with others. If improper actions mentioned in the first point occur due to failure to protect the account, the account will be disabled for at least three months and referred to the Student Disciplinary Committee for further action.
  • Account Deactivation Policy

    To avoid account hijacking due to inactivity, users who do not plan to use their account for an extended period should apply for deactivation at the Computing Center.
