Service Description

(Google has changed the name of the Google Apps service to Google Workspace, and all Google Apps services mentioned in the article represent Google Workspace services.)

In order to enable faculty and alumni to use the resources provided by Google Apps Education Edition, the Computer Center has established a Google Apps for Education account application page, please notice.

Note

  1. Go to the Google Workspace for NCU page
  2. For instructions, please refer to the link "Google Apps Application for Teaching.pdf"
  3. If there are any problems in the account application process, please send a screenshot to ncucc@cc.ncu.edu.tw, and the computer center will provide assistance as soon as possible.
  4. When applying for this account, please read the “National Central University Google Apps Service Application Agreement” and follow the Google Applications related practices.
  5. Instructions for use, thus entering the Google Workspace For NCU Instructions for Use page.

Additional purchase space operation process   (official expenses only)

Please provide g.ncu account number, name, unit, title, telephone number, email, and application requirements, and send letters to Angus-KS_Hsu@syscom.com.tw and ncucc@cc.ncu.edu.tw

  1. Applicants should first fill in the above application form and send it out. NCU will review the qualifications and confirm that it is a valid order.
  2. Syscom  provides user quotations (indicating the opening date).
  3. The user confirms the quotation and replies to Syscom (order established)..
  4. Syscom will notify NCU within two weeks of the completed order.
  5. NCU sets the storage space for additional purchasers.
  6. The user confirms that it is valid and proceeds to the reimbursement procedure.

For example

  1. The user purchases an additional 1TB space before 2024/10/2 (inclusive), the cost is US186.7(the opening date is 2024/10/30, use for 20 months, from 2024/10/30-2026/7/10)
  2. The user purchases an additional 1TB space from 2024/10/3-2024/10/10, the cost is US186.7 (the opening date is 2024/11/11, and the use is 20 months, from 2024/11/11-2026/7/10)
  3. The user purchases an additional 1TB space from 2024/10/11-2024/11/10, the cost is US177.4 (opening date is 2024/12/11, use for 19 months, from 2024/12/11-2026/7/10)
  4. The user purchases an additional 1TB space from 2026/4/11-2026/5/10, the cost is US9.4 (the opening date is 2026/6/11, use for 1 month, from 2026/6/11-2026/7/10)
