NCUCC Computer Room Rental Service Management and Charging Regulations

Management Regulations:

  1. This computer room only provides rental space for 19-inch standard rack-mounted servers, and provides network-related settings and troubleshooting. It does not provide desktop computer rental space, and does not provide host system maintenance and management.
  2. The computer room environment includes electricity, air conditioning, UPS, 19-inch standard cabinets, and surveillance video.
  3. 10/100/1000BaseT switching port / RJ45 UTP Connect to campus network。
  4. Provide computer peripherals (screen, keyboard, mouse).
  5. During daily entry and exit restrictions, they will be accompanied by colleagues from the Computing Center. The system is managed by the leasing unit itself, and the safety and compensation issues of the equipment must be insured by the leasing unit itself.
  6. Applications for server placement by administrative units (including language centers) can be waived with the approval of the director of the computer center, except for those with project funding subsidies.
  7. If the Research Center for Taiwan Economic Development does not agree to the computer center's renewal of the computer room space, the leasing unit must cooperate in moving out the server free of charge, and the rent will be refunded in proportion.
  8. These regulations have been approved by the "Information System Management Committee" meeting of the school and will be implemented after being submitted to the administrative meeting for approval. The same applies to revisions.

Charge:

  1. Computer room space rental: monthly rental fee is NT$ 350 (rack type 1U height), setup fee is NT$ 2,000 per time.
  2. Internet and bandwidth usage:
    campus IP: NT$ 50/month.
    Internet port and communication fees:NT$ 500/month. (1000 M)。
  3. Electricity bill sharing
    Using 70% of the maximum output power of the power supply to convert the electricity consumption into kilowatt-hours, 300 kilowatt-hours will be deducted each month, and the electricity bill will be NT$3 per kilowatt-hour. The above calculation method will be adjusted and changed according to the pricing plan of the school or the building management committee.
  4. The above charges are included in the special fund under "Computer usage fee".
